When it comes to hollywood award shows, we all know the focus is hardly on who's up for what. Rather, our attention is immediately fixed on the head turning fashions making their way down the red carpet. This years MTV Video Music Awards had their fair share of show-stopping style and eccentric ensembles. After weeding out the weird, wacky and down right unwarranted fashion offenders of the night, we have put together our list of the most fab VMA attendees!
First, in a daring, yet darling Julien McDonald lace dress, is the ever enviable Selena Gomez. Some may think this dress is a tad revealing for the young starlet, but we must disagree! Sure it's edgy, sensual and much different than what Ms. Selena normally opts for, but that's why we love it! SO glam! And of all places to take a fashion risk, the VMAS seem like an optimal choice! I mean, hello, did anyone see Nikki Minaj?!
Next Up we have Queen Bee herself, Beyoncé. First and foremost, we would like to send out lots of love on behalf of her little destiny's child! That little doll is sure to be a fashion magnet! However, as far as Beyoncé's look for the night; it was absolutely spot on! Perfection by Lanvin! From the color to the cut, the accessories and that golden smile-she hit every single mark! Breathtaking!
Third on our list is the super gorg Kelly Rowland in Falguni and Shane. First of all, her legs are KILLER. Seriously, who wouldn't die for limbs like that!? Second, the fit is all kinds of right. A plunging neck line, fitted sleeve and feathered mini skirt-I think I had a fashion-gasm. But let's be honest-you probably did, too. The gold is beautiful against her lovely skin and the hair and makeup were icing on the couture cake!
The next fashionista to catch our attention was the stunning Demi Lovato. Besides the fact that she is naturally unbelievably gorgeous, her choice in wardrobe for the VMAS was spectacular! We all know that Mandalay makes fab fashion, but when you have a girl as beautiful as Demi to show it off, it's a recipe for pure success. The beading was absolutely beautiful and the accessories finished the look off with a bang!
Speaking of super-celebrity stunners, Zoe Saldana in this amazing black beaded mini is one of the highlights of this fashion night out. Her body is absolutely smokin' and her girl-next-door personality only ups her appeal. One thing that we truly appreciate about Ms. Saldana is her willingness to take risks. If there's anyone who can pull them off, it's definitely Zoe.
Finally, we have little miss Ashley Tisdale. When she showed up in this stunning Tibi dress and caged heels-jaws hit the floor! She looks absolutely beautiful, and so grown up! The print of the dress is honestly to die for and the simple hair and make-up: AH! Fashion Lives! So gorgeous, yet not over done! The perfect finish to our fashionable list.
